Award-winning Addams Family Cast Performs at Orpheum
04 Jun, 2024
After an intensive week of rehearsals, the cast members of The Addams Family had the once-in- a-lifetime experience of performing on the Orpheum stage to a sold-out crowd during the Orpheum High School Musical Theatre Awards held May 23.
They wowed audiences with their talent and energy. We are proud to announce that the Addams Family cast won three awards. Ann Neal, Theatre Director and Chair of the Upper School Fine Arts Department, was honored with the Outstanding Direction by a Teacher Award, and the production earned the Outstanding Hair & Makeup Award and Outstanding Technical Achievement Award.
What a great way to cap off an incredible year in the SAA Theatre Department!
This was the 15th year for the Orpheum’s annual high school awards program which brings students from all over the Mid-South together for an intensive week of team building, collaboration and celebration of musical theatre.
