Planned Giving

Become a Pillar For Our School's Future

One of the most powerful and philanthropic tools available to supporters of SAA-SDS is planned giving. You can help ensure that future generations of students will obtain the best education possible by making a lasting gift through your will. Planned gifts help strengthen our endowment, fund programs and provide scholarships.

Planned giving includes a variety of philanthropic strategies that help you provide for SAA-SDS while also advancing your own financial and personal objectives. Making a planned gift is a special way to support the School because it allows you to donate assets, yet defer the time we actually receive them. The best gift plans improve the donor's financial and tax situation, often right away. Several planned giving options are available -- the simplest one is a bequest in your will. We strongly recommend you consult with your attorney or tax advisor as you research the most appropriate way to remember St. Agnes-St. Dominic in your will or estate plans.

Betty Earles Powell Legacy Society

The Betty Earles Powell Legacy Society honors those people who have included St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School in their estate plans through bequests or planned gifts. These gifts perpetuate the School for the benefit of future generations of students and play a key role in both growing the St. Agnes-St. Dominic tradition as well as shaping the legacies of those who generously remember the School. Planned gifts continue to help create the unique SAA-SDS experience, and we gratefully acknowledge the members of the Betty Powell Society for their vision and passionate commitment.

"I became a widow at an early age and relied on financial advisors to help me get through a lot of complicated matters. It was their suggestion to leave a bequest to St. Agnes. Looking back it was one of the smartest decisions I've ever made. It has allowed me to become even closer to the School I love and, at the same time, know that I am playing a part in continuing the legacy of St. Agnes-St. Dominic. Over the years, I have enjoyed watching the School expand its facilities and grow into a technology leader, while always remaining true to the values of the Dominican Sisters."
