What is your favorite thing about St. Agnes?

My favorite thing about St. Agnes is the community. Every girl that comes here develops a strong support system and can discover themselves and their true identity.

What class has been your favorite and why?

My favorite class during my years at St. Agnes has been AP United State Government. It is a very discussion-based class, and we do a lot of group activities that have encouraged a great community atmosphere. I looked forward to going to the class every day, and I have developed great friendships because of it!

How do teachers at SAA make learning meaningful?

The teachers at SAA make learning meaningful by encouraging collaboration and group discussion. All the teachers truly care about our futures, and you can tell in the way they teach.

Why do you like attending an all-girls school?

The experience one gains at an all-girls school, especially St. Agnes, is unlike the experience you can get anywhere else. Girls are not afraid to speak up in class and be bold in the halls. Coming to an all-girls school has helped me to develop great confidence. We talk about sisterhood often, and it may seem cliche, but we really are a family. There is always a smiling face in the halls for encouragement.

Do you have a favorite SAA tradition?

My favorite SAA tradition is the Ring Ceremony. I love that all classes that have graduated are united under one symbol of our years together. I have been identified many times just because alums have seen the ring on my finger. I have pride wearing my class ring because of all it means.

Why did you want to become the SGA Chaplain?

I ran for SGA Chaplain because I wanted to strengthen the spiritual lives of the student body. During COVID many lost their church homes and lost their spiritual lives. I wanted to be able to help encourage and renew faith.

What are your goals as SGA Chaplain?

As SGA Chaplain, my goal has been to bring joy to celebrating one’s faith to the school. I have accomplished this goal by bringing in various speakers, Catholic and non-Catholic, for students to hear different testimonies and faith stories.

What does being a leader mean to you?

Being a leader is putting others needs above your own. It is getting involved and lifting others up. Leadership is not about bossing others around or supervising, it is getting involved in the chaos, and the mess, and working with others to make it better.

What other activities are you involved in?

In addition to my work with the SGA, so I got to spend my summer preparing to welcome the freshman to campus!

Outside of school I spend a lot of time running! I am a track coach for the Bartlett Middle School Track team. I love to spend time with my parents and all my siblings. I also spend a lot of time with friends. I love being with others!
