Heck Named to Junior Ryder Cup Team
24 Aug, 2018
St. Agnes Academy junior, Rachel Heck, has been named to the U.S. Junior
Ryder Cup team. She will be one of six American girls who will compete in the
two-day match against their European counterparts September 24-25
at Disneyland Paris.
Rachel, who has committed to Stanford, has been the TSSAA Division II-AA
state champion for two years in a row and repeated as the All-USA Player of the Year. Rachel was the youngest participant at the 2017 U.S. Women’s Open
where she tied for 33rd place at 2-over par. In October of last year, she was
named Player of the Year by the American Junior Golf Association.
