St. Agnes Students Earn AP Scholar Recognition

Sixteen St. Agnes students have earned Advanced Placement Scholar recognition for their outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on AP exams for the 2021 testing period.
St. Agnes regularly offers Advanced Placement courses in American Government and Politics, Biology, Calculus AB, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Psychology, Spanish, Statistics, Studio Art, United States History, World History and World Literature and Composition. Each year, the AP program recognizes students who have performed exceptionally well on AP examinations. Approximately 18% of the 1.8 million students worldwide who take AP exams perform at a sufficiently high level to earn AP Scholar recognition.
Scholar Award Levels are based upon the following criteria:
The AP Scholar with Distinction Award is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
The AP Scholar with Honor Award is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
The AP Scholar Award is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
