SDS Hosts Alumni High School Panel
30 Apr, 2019
St. Dominic 8thgraders got some firsthand insight into what they can expect next year as they begin high school thanks to a panel discussion with a group of SDS alums.
We were pleased to welcome back to campus Matt Ireland, SDS Class of 2017, Benedict Ozua, SDS Class of 2017, and DR Nunn, SDS Class of 2018. All three are currently students at Christian Brothers High School.
The young men each discussed their high school experience thus far, sharing insights on everything from classes and homework to sports and extra curricular activities. The panel discussed issues including what it is like to be part of a larger school community and the importance of branching out and making friends. The group answered questions, addressed some of the challenges of high school, and shared study tips and their best advice for having a successful freshman year.
