Meet the Class of 2025 Miss St. Agnes Court

On Saturday, February 1, we will hold the annual Miss St. Agnes dance at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. That evening, the member of the Class of 2025 that has been chosen as Miss St. Agnes will be announced.
Miss St. Agnes is a special honor bestowed annually since 1946 on a senior who has been nominated by her classmates and voted on by the student body. The nominees for this honor exhibit personal qualities that reflect integrity, strength of character, and respect for self and others, as well as a devotion to St. Agnes Academy that is exemplified by leadership and support for the school.
Congratulations to all the young ladies who have been nominated to the 2025 Miss St. Agnes Court: Madelyn Allison, Ellie Ashley, Caroline Hubbard, Annabelle Lawler, Emma Mungle, Kate Nieman, Mirriam Okafor and Graci Workman
Madelyn Allison
Madelyn has competed on the SAA volleyball team for four years and served as captain her senior year. She is President of the Pep Club and a Past-President of the Beta Club. Madelyn is a member of the Key Club and contributes to the SAA community as a Peer Mentor and member of the Liturgical Choir. She has been inducted into the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, English Honor Society, and the Social Sciences Honor Society. Madelyn is a recipient of the Yale Book Award, AP Scholar Award and Dominican Torch Award and was awarded both a Silver and a Bronze medal on the National Spanish Exam.
Ellie Ashley
Ellie has competed for St. Agnes Academy as a member of the Regional Champion bowling team all four years of high school, and she has placed twice in the Individual Regional Bowling Championships. This is her third year to participate in our Costa Rica Cultural Exchange Program, and she is serving as the student lead for the program. Ellie spent several weeks in Costa Rica last summer and is currently hosting a student in her home. She served her class as the Public Relations Coordinator for two years and has been a member of Ducks Unlimited and EcoStars. She is currently a Teacher’s Assistant in the Upper School.
Caroline Hubbard
Caroline is an accomplished ballerina, participating in the Children’s Ballet Theater junior company throughout high school. She has performed in the Nutcracker for four years, garnering the lead role of Clara in 2023. Caroline is a member of Key Club, Beta Club and Government Club, and participated in Volunteer Girls State last summer. A leader on campus, she is a Student Ambassador and has served as President of the Class of 2025 in both 11th and 12th grade. She has been inducted into the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, English Honor Society, and the National Art Honor Society. Caroline is a recipient of the St. Catherine of Siena Award.
Annabelle Lawler
Annabelle is an active member of our Student Government Association, serving as Commissioner of Fellowship her junior year and as SGA President this year. Excelling in the Fine Arts, she is a member of the Starlettes and Ladies First vocal music groups and a regular performer in SAA Theatre Department shows. Throughout high school, Annabelle has served SAA with her talents as a Student Ambassador, Peer Mentor, and Retreat Leader. She is a member of the Key Club, Beta Club and Forever Friends. She has been inducted into the National Honor Society and International Thespian Honor Society. Annabelle was awarded the Dominican Torch Award and is a two-time recipient of the St. Catherine of Siena Award.
Emma Mungle
Emma has competed as a member of the SAA tennis, swimming, and volleyball teams throughout high school. She currently serves as President of the Athletic Council and has been named a Scholar Athlete four years in a row. She is a member of the Beta Club, Pep Club, and Key Club and has been the Spirit Week Coordinator for her class each year. Emma contributes to the SAA community as a Student Ambassador, Peer Mentor, and Retreat Leader. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Art Honor Society. Emma was recently awarded the Germantown Youth Excellence Award for the month of December.
Kate Nieman
Kate generously shares her talents with the school community as a Peer Mentor, Retreat Leader, Student Ambassador, and Honor Council Member. She is the Vice President of the Class of 2025. An active member of the SAA Theatre Department, she has performed in multiple productions and is currently the Social Media Chair for the Department. She is the Senior Events Editor of the SAA yearbook The Aquila. Kate has been inducted into the National Honor Society, French Honor Society, English Honor Society, and Social Sciences Honor Society. She is a member of the Beta Club, Key Club, Pep Club, and Forever Friends, and she has received the Service Award for volunteering 100+ hours of service each year of high school.
Mirriam Okafor
Mirriam is a member of the Ladies First and Starlettes vocal music groups and has served the SAA community as a Retreat Leader for Lower School, Junior High and Upper School students. She is a member of the National Honor Society, English Honor Society, and Beta Club. As a junior, Mirriam founded the Multicultural Club and has served as the organization’s president for two years. She has participated in both Bridge Builders and Youth in Government as well as Model UN where she was recognized as an Outstanding Delegate. Mirriam is also a Student Ambassador. She is a recipient of the Dominican Torch Award and was awarded a Bronze Medal on the National French Exam.
Graci Workman
A leader on campus, Graci has served her class as an officer each year of high school - as Class President freshman and sophomore years and as Event Coordinator junior and senior years. She is a your-year member of the SAA-CBHS cheer team. Graci participates in the Costa Rica Cultural Exchange Program, traveling to the country last summer and currently hosting a student in her home. She has been inducted into the National Honor Society, English Honor Society, and the French Honor Society. She serves the SAA community as a Retreat Leader and a Student Ambassador. Graci is the Literary Editor of Calliope, the school’s art and literary magazine, and the Copy Editor of the SAA yearbook, The Aquila.
