SAA Students Celebrate Inaugural House Reveal Day
06 Sep, 2024
St. Agnes Academy is fostering a spirit of kindness and connection through the school’s new House Program. With the start of new school year, Upper School students recently gathered for the inaugural House Reveal Day where they learned their House assignment and proudly displayed their House colors.
“The House system, based on our Four Pillars, supports our school ideals while building community among our girls without competition,” said Julie Patterson, Upper School Assistant Dean.“Character education is an important part of our positive school culture at St. Agnes Academy and House groups will reinforce those expectations.”
The Houses are named after four of the school’s founding sisters, House Lucy, House Magdalen, House Vincentia, and House Catharine. This initiative creates meaningful opportunities for students across all grade levels 9th-12th to interact, build camaraderie, and form bonds of sisterhood. Through various House social events and activities based on the Four Pillars, students will complete service projects, engage in community-building games, and lead Upper School Masses.
