Brotherhood Begins Here - Spotlight on the SDS Class of 2019

10 May, 2023

Four short years ago the members of the St. Dominic Class of 2019 walked across the stage of the Hook Theatre and were presented their diplomas. Filled with knowledge, confidence, faith and the skills to succeed, these 8th grade graduates were prepared to take the next step in their academic journey.

Flash forward four years and these boys are now young men about to graduate from high school.

Twenty-four members of the St. Dominic Class of 2019 will graduate from CBHS later this week, and we wanted to take a look at all that they have accomplished. Our St. Dominic alumni have been leaders, athletes, artists, writers, scientists, and brothers. These young men made their mark at St. Dominic School and have continued to shine.

Seventy-five percent of the SDS Class of 2019 will graduate with Honors. Fourteen are members of the National Honor Society and nine are recognized as De La Salle Scholars. Our graduates serve on the Brothers Leadership Council, as student ambassadors, peer mentors and on the student ministry team. They compete in varsity sports including football, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, track and field, cross country, and rugby.

Our St. Dominic alumni have earned millions in scholarship dollars for their achievements and have been accepted to 65 colleges and universities throughout the country. These young men have boldly built upon the foundation of excellence and brotherhood they received at St. Dominic School, and we look forward to seeing what their futures hold.

We want to shine the spotlight on a few of our Suns who represent a cross-section of the St. Dominic Class of 2019.
