SAA and MLC Cheer Teams Are the Real Winners
31 Aug, 2022
When St. Agnes alum Justine McGoff (’15), one of the coaches for the new Madonna Learning Center cheer team, asked our cheer sponsor, Gianna Soefker, about partnering MLC’S cheer team with the SAA team, the answer was a resounding “yes!”
SAA-SDS has a long-standing relationship and commitment to service with MLC. Our Junior High and Upper School students have volunteered their time and resources to MLC for almost 19 years! This cheer partnership was a natural addition to that relationship.
It was a beautiful night on Friday, August 27th when the two teams gathered to cheer on the CBHS football team, and everyone involved had a blast! According to Justine, who was a cheerleader while she was a student at SAA, “I was so excited to be back at my old stomping grounds and I was such a proud alum watching the SAA girls cheer with our MLC students. Our MLC cheer team loved it, and they did an amazing job.”
