It has been an outstanding year of sports for the St. Agnes Academy Stars. Recently we gathered to celebrate our athletes and coaches for their dedication and their accomplishments during the 2020-2021 school year!

“I am so grateful for the way our community came together in this unique year,” said Matt Nelson, SAA-SDS Athletic Director. “Our athletes, families, and coaches made additional sacrifices to make this year a reality.  Their sacrifice is what made all of these accomplishments possible.  Congratulations to all our teams and our award winners.”

Athletic Department Awards: 

Molly Rump- The Barbara H. Daush Above and Beyond Award

This award is given to an athlete who exemplifies a competitive spirit, and through leadership and example, inspires others to work for excellence. 

 

Celia Watson- James Lassandrello Award

This award is given to a high school athlete who pursues athletic excellence in one or multiple sports.

Babe Ruth Sportsmanship Award

This award is voted on by the senior class and given to a senior athlete who has, in the opinion of their classmates, made the greatest contribution to the Athletic Program through dedication and sportsmanship during her high school career.

Avery Turner- Elizabeth Ehrlicher Commitment to Excellence Award

This award is given to a student-athlete who has excelled in multiple sports and is a member of the freshman class.

Natalie Bryant- Sister Agnes Richarda, O.P., Underclassman Award

This award is given to an underclassman who has played multiple sports and achieved athletic excellence.

Mary Grace McAuley- Marian Swicker Academic Award

This award is given to the senior athlete who achieves the highest GPA while participating in multiple sports.

Olivia Page- ”PEP” Marquette-Stalm Athlete of the Year Award

This is the highest and most coveted award given by the Athletic Department to a junior or senior participating in multiple sports at St. Agnes Academy.
