AP Art Gallery
We were very excited to have the opportunity to have an in-person art show again this year to show off the artistic talents of the Senior AP Art class. Family members were invited to view the artwork and hear presentations from the artists. Students took turns sharing their inspirations, artistic methods and personal stories related to their artwork. Per the AP Art and Design curriculum, students used an inquiry-based approach to learning about and making art and design. They conducted an in-depth sustained investigation of materials, processes and ideas. The framework focuses on concepts and skills emphasized within college art and design foundations courses with the same intent: to help students become inquisitive, thoughtful artists and designers able to articulate information about their work.
