Freshman Placement Test Scholarships
All applicants to the 9th grade are automatically eligible for the following scholarships:
Sister Anne Raymond Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to the two students who have the highest overall score on the Pre-ACT 8/9 and the ISEE.
The awards are $3,000 each and renewable all 4 years of high school provided the academic criteria are met.
Sister Suzanne Callahan, O.P. Math Scholarship
Established in memory of Sr. Suzanne Callahan and made possible by the Jagoe Brown Wade '52 Endowment Fund
This scholarship is awarded to the incoming freshman who receives the highest score on the math portion of the Pre-ACT 8/9.
This award is $1,000 and applied to freshman year only. (Non-renewable)
Pre-ACT 8/9 Scholarships
Presidential Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to the students who have a composite score in the top 5% of all 9th grade applicants.
The award is $2,500 and is applied to freshman year only. (Non-renewable)
Honors Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to the students who have a composite score in the top 5.1-10% of all 9th grade applicants.
The award is $2,000 and is applied to freshman year only. (Non renewable)
Merit Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to the student who has the top score of all 9th grade applicants from your Elementary/Middle school.
The award is $1,000 and is applied to freshman year only. (Non renewable)
The following scholarships are awarded by completing an application. Additional information will be included with your acceptance materials.
Leadership Scholarship
Established by the Upper School Peer Mentors to recognize incoming students for their leadership qualities and to encourage them to continue their leadership in high school and beyond, this scholarship is awarded to a rising freshman, who excels in leadership, in their current school, community or church in good academic standing and enrolled at SAA for the coming year.
Margaret McNulty Walsh Music Scholarship
Established in memory of Margie Walsh '44, music and Glee Club teacher at St. Agnes Academy for 25 years, by her family, this scholarship is presented annually to an incoming freshman who displays an exceptional talent in music and a desire to further her musical talents.
