Thanksgiving Food Drive Serves Families Through Project Outreach
01 Dec, 2019
The St. Agnes-St. Dominic annual Thanksgiving food drive was a success as students in grades 2K-8 collected food for Project Outreach, which serves families of Fayette County. A team of St. Agnes and St. Dominic eighth graders headed to Moscow, Tennessee to the Sister Elaine Wicks Center on November 23 to deliver and help distribute the food to the needy in the community. Over 180 families received boxes of food that included turkeys, canned goods, vegetables, sugar, flour and more. This is the 12thyear SAA-SDS has collected food at Thanksgiving benefitting Project Outreach.
