Soccer Clinic Inspires Love for the Game
24 Aug, 2018
The St. Agnes Varsity soccer team joined with coach Bobby Ireland and the assistant coaches to lead a clinic for our youngest soccer enthusiasts. Almost 50 students in Junior Kindergarten-4 th grade spent the day developing their soccer skills, reviewing the basic fundamentals of the game, developing their schools, and having fun as they learned more about the game
At the Dominican Community of Schools we offer a robust soccer program for students from JK-12 th grade. On average 90% of our student body in grades JK - 8 participate in our athletic program. Many of our graduates have continued their soccer career at the collegiate level at schools including Texas A & M, the University of Mississippi, University of Tennessee, and the University of Memphis. Currently Cora Turner, SAA Class of 2016, competes for the University of Texas.
