High School Summer ePacket
Transition to High School English
Taught by freshman English teacher Ellie Wills, this course is designed for
students who need reinforcement of English skills or who want to warm
up for SAA English. We will cover typical 9th grade grammar problems,
sentence structure, and composition skills (well-developed paragraphs
and 5-paragraph essays, topic sentences, and thesis statements). We will
discuss good writing, and students will write daily. All rising St. Agnes
9th graders are welcome.

Transition to High School Math
This class is designed for those students who need a better understanding
of the mathematical concepts necessary for success in high school.
The topics that will be explored include integers, fractions, exponents,
percents, order of operations, area and perimeter, simplifying variable
expressions, one and two step equations and inequalities, proportions,
and coordinates and graphs. Required materials: pencils, calculator,
